Using your data

This notice provides important information about how the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) collects and uses your personal data.

It will also tell you how to let us know if you have any concerns or would like the RVC to stop using certain data about you.

The RVC is a Data Controller. That means we are responsible for how we use your personal data, for treating it with care and for letting you know what we will do with it.

What personal data do we collect?

We collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Your work telephone number
  • Your school/college name and postcode
  • Your position at the school/college

Why do we collect it?

We collect your information to do two main things.

1 – To keep you informed about the widening participation programmes and events for young people delivered at the RVC.

2 – To arrange outreach opportunities for your school group. 

How long will we keep your personal data?

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as it is needed. If you decide you would no longer like to be a member of the RVC Outreach Teacher Network, we will no longer store your personal data.
